Who do you think has the best returning defenses for 2010? What about LSU?

According to this Big Ten and Michigan fan's article on Bleacher Report:

College Football's Top 25 Returning Defenses For 2010 | Bleacher Report

    1. UNC
    2. Texas
    3. Iowa
    4. TCU
    5. Boston College
    6. LSU
    7. Alabama
    8. Ohio State
    9. Tennessee
    10. Boise State
    etc, etc

He had Florida at #23, writing:
No coordinator? Consecutive years of early departures along the defensive line? Losing your middle linebacker and your best corner?
I'm sorry, I know you're used to hearing about how great Florida is on defense, but this unit is gutted without Spikes, Carlos Dunlap, Joe Haden, and any other player that takes off early.
The talent at Florida is beyond argument, but the writing is on the wall—the Gators are going to struggle on defense next year. Until they hire a DC that can hold a candle to Strong, I probably shouldn't put them on this list at all.

I think Nevis and Downs will anchor the D and be much better than this year... Big question is Chavis's "bend-don't-break" style...

Pretty interesting, although this coming year will be Chavis' 2nd season with LSU not 3rd... and also, unless there's more to the article that I can't see, Chad Jones won't be here next season if he goes pro in baseball at the end of this coming baseball season which some articles i've read claim will happen. And there's no talk of PP, Loston, Mingo.

Yup, we kinda chuckled when we saw some of the "misprints", too. They mention Iowa's "dominant front" and how we should lead the Big Ten next year in rushing D.
We finished this year in the top ten in passing D, pass eff. D, total D, and scoring D.... but only 30th in rushing D (5th in the Big Ten). We're okay against the rush... but dominant... I don't think so....

The write up also mentions our two DE's may test the draft... and both have already said they will be back next year. The only guy on D leaving early is cb Spievey (who they don't mention)... so we'll have 8 returners on D... and plenty of talent ready to step into the voids.

North Carolina at number 1 eh? Anyone else want to know more about this considering we play them in the first game of the '10 season on a neutral field with that offense, not to mention we don't know how Richard Murphy will recover. I guess at least Ridley go to see some action late in the season, and we will get to see if Michael Ford is the real deal.

But it will be ugly if we don't learn to block.

Obviously, this is a result of Nick Saban and not Les Miles!

I'll put the Buckeyes returning defense up against North Carolina's returning defense every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

BC? A joke. Lame ass Michigan fan who is also apparently an ACC homer wrote this crap.
