Everything Lame has touched in the last ten years has turned to shit. Even his dad who had legendary status as a DC has had his reputation soiled and is floundering with the cowboys. Lame has the Midas touch in reverse. Wonder what will happen when he touches that little turd saban?
@uscvball attended practices almost daily back then so she may know if his record-setting year in 05 had anything to do with him, "co" Sarkisian, or the momentum from what Norm Chow left. Not to mention the talent he had. Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush and LenDale White, Dwayne Jarrett. Steve Smith.
You have to take everything she says with a grain of salt when it concerns usc. She still thinks Lame and Petey ran a clean program and we're unjustly attacked by the NCAA.
Are you seriously comparing Cam to Kiff? Holy smokes. You take out that year at Miami and Cam averaged 10 win seasons while with the Chargers and the Ravens. Along the way he has some pretty impressive accomplishments with QB's Rivers, Brees, and Flacco. The 2006 Chargers offense directed by Cameron is one of only 28 teams in NFL history to average 30-or-more points per contest. It is the 21st highest-scoring offense in NFL history, and 14th-highest over the last 25 years. In his last 126 games as an NFL offensive coordinator, the teams Cameron was a part of in San Diego and Baltimore lost a total of only eight games by more than seven points.
Mett improved dramatically after Cam... dude had no pocket awareness, no qb clock in his head, overthrew receivers on the regular before Cam... USC improved dramatically after lane left... And that's under ya-ya...
As for the Kiffen hire, I have to admit it caught my attn. Initially, given Saban the credit he's known for- recognizing talent- I figured he may have seen something with Kiff. Then I remembered Saban is a defensive guy. Then I realized he did in fact see something with Kiff. I think he just wants to nail Kiff's wife. She does resemble Candy, doesn't she?
Do you feel the punishment fit the crime? Compare it to Miami and tell me. I honestly don't know the specifics but have read that they don't match up.
Splain please? I need more than just an opinion . You know, so I can take you without a grain of salt.
Here Twisted, splain me this cause I'm no math scholar. How is one player vs 72 resulting in a loss of 10 scholarships per year to 3 "comparable?" This is where the spin will be to make me out to be a USC apologist; however, it's a matter of being objective and fair imo. I don't even see how a UCLA fan could look at this and see parity.
