Help me out here....while I agree that his appearance on the field was unusual, what does it have to do with being on the committee? Keep in mind, ALL current AD's on the committee have recuse mandates so they can't participate in discussions regarding their own school. The only way to avoid any such potential issue is to have a committee with zero ties to any school. But we sort of had that with the secret logarithms.
I've felt this way the whole time. This dude can't take his bias off enough to not come to argue with the damn refs, what makes anyone other than USC fans and friends of Pat Haden think he can remove this bias from his duties on the selection committe? No one who is currently affiliated with a program should be on that committee.
