All times CST. Florida @ Alabama 2:30 CBS MSU @ LSU 6 PM ESPN Clemson @ FSU 7 PM ABC Miami @ Nebraska 7 PM ESPN2 Oregon @ Washington State 9:30 ESPN Another fairly lame slate of games today. On a scale measuring compelling football, this college football season through 4 games has been a dud.
First, for Florida and Alabama....I have felt all week like Florida might have a chance in this one. Muschamp's back is against the wall and he needs a signature win. Alabama hasn't overwhelmed when I've seen them this year but today will tell us a lot more, much the same with us and MooU. Since FSU has now elected to hold Winston out for the entire Clemson game, I like Clemson's chances a whole lot more. Remember FSU handed Clemson an old fashioned ass whipping last year.....and in Clemson. I look for this one to be a close one and wouldn't be surprised if Clemson won. I disagree about your assessment of college football this year. I think it is, perhaps, more wide open than any year I can remember because no team has definitively established dominance as of yet. To me, that makes this year even more exciting.
On your list, the "wipe-out" will probably be Oregon-WSU, then, perhaps Bama-Florida....everyone "wants" Florida to be much improved, but I think Bama at home will be very tough (especially for Muschamp). I'll definitely be watching your game. Your qb needs to remove some doubt and manage the game at a high level. The pundits smell an upset. LSU....at home....I don't think so!!!
I think The U is going to beat Nebraska. Huskers just plain suck, got lucky last week against McNeese.
Wiskey was already ahead of Bowling Green 62-17 and they have kicked two field goals to make it 68-17. Melvin Gordon with 253 yards and 5 TDs on only 13 carries.
