I think Wazzou and OSU are the only teams that can jump us. I think OSU wins out, but that puts Michigan at two losses. There are a lot of head to head match ups in this top 10, which guarantees a certain number of losses. The key will be a few conference championship upsets outside of the SEC.
This is wishful thinking. The committee is not putting LSU in the playoffs to watch them get crushed by Alabama again. That game at home in Death Valley wasn’t even remotely competitive. Imagine how bad they would crush us on neutral field in the playoffs. I’d rather go kick UCF’s ass in the peach bowl.
That would probably be on the bottom tier of defenses we’ve seen this year. I also think the offense is going to kick it up a notch tonight.
