But I don't see why your opinion is any more valid that anybody else's. You have your own poll and you would put Florida higher. Great. Ultimately neither your opinion or theirs matter because it's gonna be decided starting this weekend. And you know what, in order for Bama to get to the playoff, they are likely gonna have to beat Florida to do it. And so will we, BTW. We're gonna have to beat them again. So it will be decided. The poll last night means nothing.
the good news is if we beat ourselves with 5 or so turnovers, we should still pass the eye test and be in the top 4 -- by simply having one loss to the team they wanted to rank 1 anyhow. false. its not an opinion. bama is not the best team in the country because they have a loss at this point. it was proven on the field.
I agree with everything in this post, except the last sentence. the only change in format I would like to see is the playoff to 8 teams. 8 teams would be the ideal. i've maintained that from the get-go. 12,16, etc, is too many, 4 is too few. 8 is right.
This is wrong in a sense. Those rankings will determine who gets to play for the title. I gripe bc certain names get more opportunities. It shouldn't be like that.
Good question. I think Bama would beat Baylor. For now, Bama ahead of Baylor. If Baylor runs the table, however, with a backup QB, i'd probably rank them higher. It won't matter after LSU takes care of business on Saturday, so kind of a moot point. GEAUX TIGERS!!!
I'm sure this is about 2011. Get over it. We had a chance to prove we were the best team and we didn't just lose, we crapped the bed. BTW, it was the BCS that gave us that so I'm not sure why the BCS is so much better. This is 2015. Bama will not get in the playoff unless they win the SEC. Bank on it. Their ranking last night was not an opportunity. It was entertainment.
