first rankings come out today. Anyone wanna take a gander at where LSU will be?

    I think it's as follows:

    Ohio State
    Baylor
    LSU
    TCU
    Clemson
    Alabama

The wild part is LSU plays Bama, Baylor plays TCU, Clemson and Ohio State look like they have a free ride, so this will be shaken up after next weekend a little, Clemson gets FSU next week, watch that Baylor game on Thursday in Manhattan without Russell, anyone think that could be an upset or at least be enough to drop Baylor down a little?

I don't think the CFP rankings come out until Tuesday

You're right my bad it's Tuesday, regardless, how do you see it shaking out?

Maybe Clemson 3rd or 4th with TCU down to 5th. Baylor won't be downgraded until it's seen how they play a whole game with the backup QB

I think the thing to remember though is this committee really doesn't have to listen or pay attention to either the AP or the coaches poll. So they technically wouldn't be dropping anyone.

Not a prediction; however, I would not be surprised to see them rank LSU #1 with Alabama at #4 to really set the stage for the monster match-up next Saturday. There is no pressure to doing that because it will shake out after next Saturday anyway.

If Bama wins, then they were justified in putting them at #4. If LSU wins, they were a pretty strong #1 choice.

That's a very interesting theory, I haven't heard anyone else say that but you make a very convincing point.

I think Mark May's top 4 on the "Who's In" show this morning was set up something like that.

With seven or 8 undefeated teams, I don't see Bama climbing into the top four without a win over one.
