Wow, excite.com still exists? It looks the same as it did in 1998.

ESPN radio sportscenter keeps saying that Texas, OU, Okie State, A&M, Texas Tech are all expected to announce that they will be joining the Pac 10 today around 2.

uh oh. that would likely mean that the P10 got its wish of a BCS bid for each division winner.

to me, that is nothing but pure bs. one conference, one berth. if you want two, just have two freakin conferences. have a ccg pac pukes and send that winner. f' the rest of em.

im ok with it if it leads to a playoff.

4 superconferences. each division winner gets a spot.

otherwise, the sec should just leave the ncaa. if they wanted, there could just be a superbowl against the ncaa winner every season.

Not even remotely. If anything it will help LSU because we will travel to Houston as a team. UofH is a commuter school in the 3rd largest city in the country. If our recruiting competition increases, it will be from other SEC schools who have not had a presence there before. The cougars will finally get a little better from SEC $, but the city of Houston is big enough to support several BCS schools. If anyone is pissed it will be AtM, TCU, Baylor, etc - the schools who had to battle LSU for recruits and will now have to battle other SEC teams also. Houston? Not so much.
