You are right about the fact that we don't have to catch up. However, if you sit on your hands while all the other conference improve themselves, you could quickly find the world passing you by and no longer be sitting on top.
this whole damned thing is a circus. but about the best off season entertainment we have had in a long time! pass the Beer.
I've been all caught up in the expansion talk and I gotta say 4 moves wasn't to bad especially who they ended up being... I think the dumbest move was by far by Texas A&M... did anyone notice how all the talk was about is TAMU gonna break up over 100 years of tradition by leaving texas... What would Texas A&M done if they had joined the SEC... well they wouldn't have ended any competition but they could helped themselves to the SEC recruits in Texas... all the kids that want to play in the SEC... well stay at home and we still get to go play all those teams... you come out of the shadow of UT and i would still offer the olive branch to UT and make them deny the game plenty of school have rivalries who are no longer in the conf Georgia / Georgia Tech South Carolina / Clemson Utah / Utah St. Virginia Tech / West Virginia Iowa / Iowa St. Florida / Florida St. / Miami Kentucky / Louisviile Notre Dame / USC Notre Dame / Michigan Notre Dame / Michigan St. New Mexico / New Mexico St. Colorado / Colorado St. Arkansas / Texas A&M these are just a few of the teams who aren't in the same conf. but have maintained rivalry games... all the crap they were giving Texas A&M was BS... the BIG XII is definitely Texas + everyone else it will only be a couple years and it will start to fall apart some more... hell it may just be a year
