I Like LSU, i'm Louisiana 2 the heart, but ay Grambling has WAAAAAYYYYY more tradition than LSU, so why get mad that they didn't say much about LSU, Grambling got only a half hour show, LSU has all season long on College Football Live, so ay ESPN did a great job with the segment, except 4 the Iowa crap !!!
How about just a bit of reality? I'm certainly not hating on Grambling, but the school that would become Grambling didn't open until 1901 and didn't field a football team until Coach Robinson got there in 1941. LSU!, on the other hand, opened in 1860 and started playing football in 1893. To put it another way, by the time Grambling first snapped a football in the fall of 1941, already had three All Americans, 10 players drafted by the NFL, had won 208 games, claimed two SEC championships and three national championships (1908 [by the National Championship Foundation], 1935 [by Williamson] and 1936 [by Williamson and Sagarin]). Again, not even close to hating on GSU. The job Coach Robinson did there for 56 years was phenomenal and there have been tons of talented players to come out of there. But Grambling having "waaayyyyy more tradition than LSU!"? Not on your life. BTW, before I catch flack from folks saying that  didn't have a National Championship until 1958, I got my info from the 2008 Football Media Guide. Personally, I don't claim those earlier National Championships either, but there they are. :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
ESPN conspiracy? Not likely. BUUUUUUT, how in hill can you have a .5 hour show dedicated to Louisiana college football and not do at least a SHORT segement on LSU football. You gotta be kiddin me!
