College Football Live on Louisiana College Football Live has been doing their 50 state tour, today they covered Louisiana. It will be replayed at the following times: 5:30 p.m. on ESPNU 6:00 p.m. on ESPN2 10:30 p.m. on ESPNU Tuesday morning on ESPNU, every 30 minutes from 5 - 8:30 a.m.
So I just watched the show and it was the worst thing ever. Talked about the history of teams and great players from Louisiana. They spent about 20 minutes discussing Grambling and the other 5 talking about the injury to Iowa's running back and how it affects their season (well why don't we wait until it's the state of Iowa's turn for that show). Nothing at all about LSU and the upcoming season. The only other show I watched profiled Maryland and they went pretty in-depth even as much as predicting the Terps' and Navy's record. Exact opposite for Louisiana.
watching this was a waste of half an hour. The closest thing to present they talked about was showing 5 seconds of highlights of the title game against tOSU. They spent more time talking about Grambling and the 1998 tulane season. The most interesting segment was a little piece where they posed the question, "what is the best game ending in LSU history?" And they decided that the Billy Cannon punt return was better than the blue grass miracle. No analysis of the 09 team, and no mention of the 08 team. Heck, they talked about $aban more than they talked about Miles. So disappointing.
No way, I found that it was pretty positive. No mention of a "split" championship in 2003. He kept accidentally referring to the state of Louisiana as "The state of LSU". Hardly a mention of ULL. All-in-all, pretty respectful of LSU.
I did not like it at all, they did not hardly even talk about LSU, WTF I mean show some credit why don't they.ESPN must really hate lsu I would think.
