UNC plays that level of defense they played in the 2nd half for 40 minutes, they beat ANYONE -- UConn, OU, etc.. ANYONE by 20+. Because if they consistently get stops, they can get in transition and will dominate anyone.
well reverse mojo worked. if unc gets that type of prdcution out of thompson and their bench it is good night good...blah whatever dickie v says. Uconn looked good tonight. Syracuse is always vastly overrated and I can never take a team seriously if they play zone for most of their games despite their talent level.
I have a tough one for you, TB3, fellow UNC fan. Is Lawson a better PG in college than Felton and Cota? He is getting damn close. He straight owned Paulus tonight.
He is certainly important to his team when it comes to winning it all. Cota and Felton each had more legit scoring big men in the post in Marvin Williams, Sean May, Brendan Haywood, Vince Carter and Antawn Jamison. Felton was a more consistent rebounder and defender, Cota the better passer. But Lawson is the better scorer -- and he has shown he can do everything well. And with Zeller and Ginyard being out he needs to score more. Duke is similar in that they need Paulus and Smith to do the same thing since their post players on the bench have regressed. edit: Of course none of them equal Phil Ford.
