Da Ohio St. getting into it again, two players suspended by Meyer. I bet they will miss the first 20 minutes of the intersquad waterbreak due to the misdomeaner charges.

Stoneburner and Mewhort were arrested around 2:30 a.m. Saturday by police in Shawnee Hills, northwest of Columbus, near Muirfield Village Golf Club, where the Memorial Tournament was being held.

    He's gone.

Since Moreno, UGA has 4 RBs arrested, 4 transfers/dismissals, 8 games missed due to suspensions, 1 DUI & 2 felonies

That's happening all over the college football landscape. Texas A&M even has a few of those.
    Michigan....Ohio State...TCU.

It kind of puts what happened at Shady's into perspective. I hear from the grapevine that the BR police actually do let LSU athletes off the hook for minor stuff...despite the Shady's fiasco.

But still....Miles runs a tight ship (and so does Saban).

A few things that just jump out to me about stories the last few weeks.

With this one on Isaiah, it's mentioned in the reports he had five others with him: all five from their 2012 recruiting class. Now, what does that say about the future?

Another aspect falls back to recruiting, specifically visits. When these kids hit campus on the recruiting visits often they are shown around to this party, that party, etc. IF their introduction to a school/program is emphasizing that side of what life will be like if they attend that school, should it come as a shock they continue that routine once they arrive on campus?

If this isn't an indictment on reasons to allow coaches to visit high schools in the spring to talk to teachers, coaches, get backgrounds on kids, I don't know what is. Setting aside evaluations of talent, we're seeing the evaluations of character come to the forefront.

I left with a question. Are other coaches so desperate to keep up with talent that other programs are bringing in they are consciously taking chances on kids and whether they can keep within the laws of society? It certainly seems so with Richt.

Remember that big running back that we recruited from Texas, Dexter Pratt...you know the one who came in to BR spent one night at LSU...left the next morning....enrolled at Okie State....got busted selling weed on campus within a week....went to jail.

We dodged a bullet on that one, but how many are just like him?

Yeah, they are because this is a big pressure, big money industry. Results now, not later. As far as Richt goes, he's the biggest joke along with Urban Meyer in discpline in just about all of football.
