    He is a USC homer, but he readily admits to it, as well. So that makes it easier to tolerate.

    Besides, the guy generally makes very sound (or at least interesting) arguments to support his positions.

    Except when he tries to parallel his argument (I've been studying for the LSAT way too long) with examples that bear no relation to and are a complete stretch from where he is trying to go.
