Maybe not a legend but on his way to becoming one and that should be his main focus. Focus his attention to talking to the media, recruits, supporters, organizations around the country and hiring top coaches and coordinators that can coach LSU to the top (he is almost there) and leave the coaching to them. For you religious folk, you should have already figured out the Creator's favorite team is. :miles:

This is a tough thing to debate and everyone has strong opinions and as with most things the truth is in the middle somewhere. There's an old saying about coaching "You're only as good as your weakest player." The talent is there to be a top ten team, that goes without saying, the job of the coach is to develop that talent, gel it all together, prepare the team mentally and physically, and scheme and develop a game plan. Evidently Miles thinks he has talent at QB sufficient enough to win, otherwise he would have done something in the recruiting area to improve his situation, a JUCO player maybe. So, for that reason, I think that either he is not good at evaluating talent or he is not good at teaching and developing players. And you can say it's the OC's job and that is valid, but if I'm the leader of the organization and a part of my team is failing miserably and I don't step in and do something about it, then shame on me and I deserve what comes my way. One thing I absolutely know about football is that players play to the level of intensity and confidence of their coach and the players seem as confused out there as Miles does.

Just like last night. I don't care so much about post counts typically. But when you are a member of a FAN board for TWO FRIGGIN' YEARS, and this is your first post???? Troll. If you have nothing to contribute to the board until something bad happens, then don't contribute then. You should've made your first post after the '08 Peach, or after one of the recruiting NSDs since you joined, or after LSU beat the hell outta AU last year. Then you might be taken seriously as an LSU FAN.
Been lurking for 3 years before this week and I cant recall this amount of idiocy. There are issues for sure, but seriously ................. 5 and 0 ugly, but the worm has possibly turned. Definitely saw some reasons for more optimism last night. The hate is palpable and some folks need to chill just a little.
