I would argue that LSU has not been "pulling off genuine upsets" in a long while because LSU is very rarely the underdog. We're generally favored.

I'll remember that LSU rarely upsets anyone after Auburn gets beat this weekend.

    Like auburn last year?

An LSU was the only team to beat a&m two years in a row, who else did that?

None of you whiners would be still moaning about LSU having to play Alabama for the 2011 BCS titles if LSU had won the game. It wouldn't have mattered it they played the New England Patriots if they had won. I have been one of the biggest critics of the BCS for years but in 2011 they got it right. The purpose was to match the two best teams, not the champions of the two best conferences.
LSU and Alabama were clearly head and shoulders above everyone else in the NCAA.

Alabama's lone loss was to Number One LSU by three points in overtime. Oklahoma State's loss was to unranked Iowa State.

In their own stadium. In front of their fans. And you don't know LSU and Alabama were better than anyone else, the only team worth a fuck Alabama played that year was LSU.

LSU totally crushed every team on their schedule except Alabama. Thorough domination. Large margins of victory. Alabama was the only team that could hang with LSU and you know it. You just don't want to admit it.
