Izzy - what would've happened if every coach would have voted OK. St. at least #3 in the nation? Brad Edwards (@BradEdwards_BCS) 12/5/11 11:20 AM If every voter who had OKST at 4, 5 or 6 would've put them at 3 instead, final BCS avg would be Bama .942, OKST .938
Can anyone tell me why certain coaches have a coaches vote and certain ones don't? I can't figure out why Gundy wouldn't have a vote but Saban does...
What ever happened to that old saying: If you want to BE the best, you have to BEAT the best? This avoidance of playing 'Bama again has taken on a life of its own. Can it be that a bunch of us are insecure of our position as the Nation's top team? What more could this team do to prove to some of us that they are really that good?
Yeah, Nick "played the system" alright - in fact he was an ESPN guest commentator on Saturday when the OSU coach was preparing for his game...it's hard to beat that type of quality air time. ESPN was completely biased in allowing him that air time when games were still being played. If there's an upside to all this, it's that ESPN is going to have to beat the Bama drum 24-7 for the next month in order to drown out the accusations - and then they'll just have to hope like hell that their forced cede pulls it off. A month of discounting the Tigers is just fine by me...it will serve as one hell of a motivator.
I love that Miles voted OSU #3. That's those Lesticles taking over. And I love the message that it sends to bama: "Bring it on, bitches! I can't wait to kick your ass a second time!"
No because we already beat them. If we lose in the rematch, a lot of people will come unglued and many, many people here will say we shouldn't have had to play them again in the first place. Money.
