After last year, 16th seems fair. I'm really glad that half the conference is in the top 25 though. Maybe everybody can shut up about the Big Ten (Twelve) and the Pac 10 (Twelve).
More practice tidbits and a piece on JJ as well. LSU Preview - Part 3 of 8; Other Quick Notes I saw a picture of Pep yesterday and he definitely looks like he is about 295.
Great reads, thanks! I think the DT section offers great insight. In years past, I think we have done well with undersized tackles because they were quicker. I can remember watching Claude Wroten and Kyle Williams play in the middle, and they couldn't move anyone around, but they were hitting the gaps as the offensive linemen were getting out of their stances. If we can see that out of this year's DT rotation, then I think we can have the same success stopping the run as years past. As far as the 'Bama game is concerned, with a bye week immediately preceding the game, we should have enough time to gameplan with a different rotation of lineman to compete with the power running game that 'Bama is going to bring. We should immediately see how this year's offensive line is going to hold up considering the quality defensive linemen that UNC is bringing. Geaux Tigers.
I sure did. I guess I've been reading Tuberville's comments too much and believe they are a defunct conference.
