3rd to 14th! Thats crazy. We lost big time in style points by getting blown out like that. 1 Texas 2 Alabama 3 Penn State 4 Southern California 5 Texas Tech 6 Oklahoma 7 Florida 8 Brigham Young 9 Georgia 10 Oklahoma State 11 Ohio State 12 Missouri 13 Utah 14 LSU 15 Kansas 16 Boise State 17 Michigan State 18 Virginia Tech 19 Wake Forest 20 South Florida 21 North Carolina 22 California 23 Vanderbilt 24 TCU 25 Ball State
USC back to 4th after being beaten by unranked Oregon State. That's ridiculous. 14th is maybe a little low, but we deserve what we get after last night. We can make it back though.
LSU got beat badly and did not look very good. Falling out of the top ten is probably what we deserve - but not that far - maybe 11 or 12. I don't think Missouri should have fallen out of the top 10.
look how fast other teams made it back up im not worried about ranking just how we play and not wanting to hear trash talk on espn
This is true. If we go out and win, we'll be back up in the rankings. This should really be the least of our concerns right now. Last year, we made it from, what?, 8 in the BCS one week to #2 the next.
14th is probably about right considering the way the Tigers were destroyed by the first quality team we played this year. USC shouldn't be in the top 10, but we all know the story there by now.:geauxtigeLSU!
Agreed, and that is the way it should be. I wish this formula applied to all teams. TTU needs to be WAY behind OU.
The USC homerism especially here on the West Coast is sickening. No way do we get that kind of respect from the national media. It's the lovefest with Pete Carroll.
But this is the coaches poll we're talking about, not the AP. USC is actually higher in the coaches poll than the AP. They bombed the Oregon St game but I honestly think it was because they were looking past an opponent (similar to our loss to OM), not because their not a good team.
