Just playing the voice of reason here, but Boise did something that the SEC didn't do, and that is go across the country and win a game(and it was against a ranked team). Georgia went to Colorado and lost. Vanderbilt went to UConn and lost. The only other time SEC teams left their own state for an OOC game was LSU to Georgia against UNC, and Arkansas in Arlington against Texas AM. I know what's coming, yea yea big deal, try 3 games in a row against ranked teams. I agree their schedule is still weak. However, give them credit for actually scheduling the game and for winning it. Note: The SEC is extremely tough. Yet, a fan of the Big 10 would see this as the SEC being afraid to leave home. I don't think that's true, the teams just want the money for having more home games. And maybe that's what the Big East's problem is. Pitt, WVU, Cincinnati, and Syracuse all went on long away games and had losses.
Poor argument to debate this on who has the guts to Travel. Some of the longest trips I ever took in my life, was to Auburn and they're 30 minutes from the house. Getting on a plane ain't that scary.
True, but if you are going to talk about next year, Boise St is going to talk about last year, and those wins over Oregon and TCU look awful nice.
