that's actually not as bad as i expected. I was thinking that the pollsters were looking for a reason to drop us like a rock.
Something has got to be done about Michigan State.......soon.........next week................at Iowa.
It probably will. This is shaping up to be one of those years like '07 where there is considerable blood-letting. However, it may also be the perfect storm because BSU and TCU were ranked too highly to start the year, and it may very well be impossible to keep them out of the BCSNCG. It makes me sick, however, to think of that with the joke of a schedule both of them play. I wanted to see BSU join the PAC 10 and TCU join the Big 12. If you wanna play in the big bowls, play in the big conferences. It's as simple as that.
I have to agree with this. The big boys won't be happy. Plus, that would make three years in a row that they'd play in a bowl. No one wants to see that nonsense. (For the record, I was po'd at the BCS for matching them together last year. TCU should've gone to face Florida in the Sugar Bowl, and BSU should've gone to the Orange.)
If they are both in, I'll just have to be busy that evening - probably tying flies for spring fishing. ldskule:
The rest of the BCS football world will be over at your place to see how you do it. With TCU getting a crack at a top 10 Utah team, it's stupid enough to happen. Otherwise, why keep legitimizing their football place each week in these polls.
This whole thing negates the SEC .. why do we beat on each other week in and week out if we could just schedule a buncha creampuffs and a couple of semi tough games every year...thankfully I grew up watching real football and my kids are to.
The SEC has won the last four of these :crystal: We're doing fine. If AU runs the table they will have an opportunity to make it 5 in a row.
