Awww, they are coming around, Dude. Attitudes about LSU and Les have changed a lot in two years on TideFans. It's hard to argue with Les' success, averaging 11+wins and winning the BCs championship and they've also been supportive of his brand of discipline. Some are beginning to appreciate the difference between Les' audacity and "recklessness".

Just how many of the 5*'s, in state, do you think Auburn grabs this year?

Are there any 5*s in AISA?

They do have Coleman who is a bad dude though. Simple Auburn concept: take undersized DL from Mobile schools and they become dominant.

You can win the recruiting ratings and the A-day attendance. We will remain content to win the games during the season.

Yous betta be afred because the progress is definitely showing. Use to we couldn't win anything. Then we won our first spring game under Saban in 2007 then in 2008 we won the recruiting ratings AND (AND I SAY) won another spring game which made it two years in a row. We got a streak going now.

Watch out regular season!!! :hihi:

I saw an LSU fan on one forum say it was LSU v Auburn, but I don't see how that can surpass Georgia or Bama.

Not discounting this fact. Your success has me watching. Of course, I've been watching LSU for years and years.

Care to name one, simply one, example?---that's easy Terry. I can give you lots of them but since you only ask for one I will give you the one that comes to mind first. I can't remenber the year but Stabler was the bama QB. It poured down rain most of the game (I was there). Neither team could do much under the conditions. The score was tied 3-3 well into the 4th quarter when Stabler rolled right on a QB keeper. An Auburn defender closed in for the tackle but a bama OL grabbed him in a bear hug and Stabler ran for a TD. There is film showing a ref ignoring the obvious holding but didn't make the call. With no ill intent, I have to say you are among the younger naive set of bama fans when it comes to the history of the Auburn-bama series. Heck even the Bear used to laugh at such incidents I mention while admitting it was true.If you don't believe playing in B'ham was a huge advantage to bam just look at the records before and after the series was moved to home and home (over the violent objections of many prominent bama folks).

I swear PT, you know damn well you have had success in a down period of Bama football.---ah that's the standard line of bama fans. No one ever dominates bama unless bama is down.

I'm not happy about it. But, the notion that simply because the location has changed and now it has a bearing on the outcome? I'll cite one example. Your home field advantage has worked how well with UGA that wasn't rebuilding? ---oddly enough, in recent years the visitor in this series has won more often than the home team. But what has this got to do with the Iron Bowl?

The only thing Alabama fans worry about when they visit JH is if the sewage lines are working. And yes, that's a true story and the reason I'll never visit West Opelika again.---that's OK. It's been a long time since I have been to West Vance and I'm not planning on going any time soon. It's a real problem having to wait until I get home to take a shower. Maybe one of these centuries bama may actually win a home Iron Bowl. :thumb:
