Oh, I'll still be pulling for the Tigers. No way I can stop doing that. I just don't think this was the right hire but nothing can be done about that now so let's get on with the show.

BDP definitely has to go and there is just something not right about our OL so Grimes should be out as well. We will need a DL coach and a LB coach... aren't we currently using a GA at LB coach?

The only thing that scares me is the possibility of Aranda to Texas. If that happens, I might cry.

Did you watch the Iron Bowl today? Alabama is not a spread team. They're a hybrid team that has elements of different offensive style, including, but not limited to each of the play types that you mention. But their base offense is still a power running game and they have a QB that can beat you with his arm and/or legs..

Special teams have been bad. Those coaches should be in trouble with Coach O. Dave Aranda stays. I hope that Lane Kiffen can come to LSU and be the OC and QB coach for at least until he gets another HC job somewhere. I know that Kiffen is not very likeable like Coach O is, but, Coach O would like to have Kiffen, so, I think we should support Coach O's plan to try to bring Kiffen here.

I think the biggest question with kitten is if O can do like Saban and keep little kittens big mouth shut and out of trouble. He's a loose cannon without a strong dictator to keep him muzzled. I'd prefer O get someone that will require less parental guidance.

Yeah like our offense except we utilize our TE, FB and RB a bit more. Etling is not Jalen Hurts but runs well enough when he needs to. Wasnt much difference in our offensive production vs Bama's production against Ole Miss, Ark and A&M plus we destroyed Missouri and set an offensive record. Just dont get why Kiffin we should look at others.

If O wants Kiffin so be it and if he is as productive as SE I will be happy but would hope he does better than SE if not why hire him.

According to Alleva's statements O's plan that he presented includes multiple changes. Alleva said he believed he would get 90% of the coaches O named in his plan. That alone suggests multiple hires and not just an OC. I expect Peveto, Grimes and maybe another on offense plus a LB coach.

I wouldnt get rid of Grimes unless there is some conflick with him and O. I dont get the ganging up on Grimes I am seeing. Grimes nor anyother OL coach could look good under Miles. Once O took over our rushing game exploded with the exception of the Bama game.

Wait, Grimes? Why Grimes? All he's done is recruit his ass off and get good line play while having to shuffle the O-Line a dozen times.

Many haven't been impressed. His lines at LSU have been very inconsistent IMO. They look great one week and putrid the next. Recruiting has been ok at best and his constant shuffling players to different positions seems to lead to more confusion and busts. Still not a big fan of zone blocking at the college level. Would not hurt my feelings ro see him go.
