So Coach O can't be a Tiger fan and still try to recruit LSU commits to a school he was HC at?

He's trying to be difficult because Les never got a fair shake and all the negatigers didn't know how good they had it.

Who's cares about trying to convince this Moron. I also liked Miles the man but realized a long time ago he's nothing more than a mediocre coach at best. Tell you what Tap, he's such a good coach let's see how many top programs will be lining up to hire him after the season.

Go back and read your posts about Stallings press conference dumbass! Oh yeah and Let's stick with a coach that averaged 10 wins a season over his career and finished 4th, 5th, 6th and 3rd in conference play the last 4 years. Like I said, let's see the teams lining up to hire Miles after the season.

I just don't think Meyer will leave what he has to come here.

What does this have to do with LSU right now? Unless this is a suggestion that we hire Chip Kelly. That's about the only parallel I can see here.

I completely agree here and is why I stuck by Les for so long. I remember the 90's. I remember being happy to make an appearance in the independence bowl. I just don't realistically see one of the already successful 'elite' coaches leaving an already good situation to come here and play our schedule every year.

I had a similar thought that he may have been the coach in waiting type deal. He also wouldn't be my first choice but if he manages to win out and make an SEC championship appearance or win it, how can you not let the guy keep the job?

Again, what would O have to do to convince you he should be the guy?

Is there anyone else you would want except Meyer?

It's laughable that you're comparing Miles to Saban. I think I'd take the 4 NC's and be happy, oh take that back he'd probably have 5 or 6 by now.

100% agree that the admins suck balls and have screwed the pooch on this. Alleva is an idiot. Honestly I think he should also be fired at the end of the season and let the new guy choose a coach.

I hadn't hear about Campbell but it happens just about every year. So I don't put that on O. These are Miles' players, right?

We can absolutely get an elite coach! I'm just wondering who you feel is an elite coach that will realistically come here? We can offer Meyer, Saban, Harbaugh, and whoever but they may not want to leave their current situation. I am not sold on Herman as he has been less than impressive of late. But that should make it easier to get him!

Again, Alleva should follow Les out the door and no way in hell should be allowed to pick the next coach. Hell, fire Alleva, place Skip in as interim AD and let him hire the new coach, he has a pretty good track record so far.

Right. I think it's a good idea for him and Cam to go to Ole Miss. We definitely know how to stop his offense.
