From the most reliable source on Tigerdroppings (Belowpar), "It's chavis!!!" Signed and done. He says Coach O is playing games, and it's not done..back up plan maybe Haley is a back up plan enjoy! BTW: The Administrator at TD knows Belowpar and has made an official announcement on Tigerdroppings homepage, that's how much faith he has in Belowpar being money!
Well that settles it then! ATTENTION BOARD: IZL has given his personal approval, we should all take note. :rolleye33:
I've already said that at least 3 times in this thread. He is frustrating Tenn too and there is no reason to believe he isnt playing games with LSU. He told Kiffin he wasnt looking at any other jobs unless it was DC or an opportunity like Tenn where he would essentially be the DC in waiting.
Well if he's making 500K as reported with the Saints, then Coach O is not a feasible option for either LSU or Tennessee.
Sorry, Brick Haley I keep getting conflicting reports on what Coach O makes with the saints I heard 500k, then I read around 250k on another site Tennessee has allegedly offered O 650k to be DL, RC and DC in waiting after Monte leaves (Volnation board) I am pretty sure LSU will pay up to 500k to land him, but I don't know about 650k....and that number maybe a bad rumor I think he stays home and coaches at LSU.. Someone said he lives equal distance to BR campus, to NO office..No move required Sounds like he is just working his leverage to get the biggest check possible Who would not do that? Tennessee fans are thinking LSU fans are nuts for even thinking O wants to be at LSU, LOL! They are basing everything on Kiffen's relationship with O at USC... I'm thinking, O doesn't want to move as reported, and working for someone who is only 33, maybe considered a risk...Miles has won a MNC! Home, success, fun, no risk!
I have yet to hear anyone reference the unsettled defensive coaching situation with the saints. DC Gary Gibbs has to be on the hot seat now that the season is over and the defense underperformed, even considering all the injuries suffered on D. Now that the season has ended and coaching evaluations have begun, it could be very possible that the saints may be looking for a new DC. I don't think coach Orgeron would be a real candidate for that position. If Gibbs leaves and someone else is brought in, what kind of leverage would coach O have with the saints regarding a pay raise bidding war when he may find himself having to contend for his job in the first place?
Orgeron gets 75% of his $900,000 Ole Miss salary, minus what the Saints pay him this year. I don't know what the Saints are paying him, but it wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be low. It's just like Benson/Loomis to make someone else foot the bill if they can. That could very well change this year, though. LSU can't afford a bidding war with any NFL team. If money is the reason, he's not coming to LSU.
I'm confused. So if the Saints elect to pay him $0, he would be paid 75 % of 900K? And if the Saints pay him $300K, then it's 75 % of 900K and then you lessen that by 300K?
