So Henson, who has done a bang up job for us and is about to haul in the #1 recruiting class in the country, is going to lose his position as recruiting coordinator? If so I hope it's a mutually beneficial/agreed upon decision. We shall see. Thanks for the info.
I bet. When Alleva was AD at Duke, they had a dynasty-level powerhouse basketball program. If what you tell us is true, that Alleva says "everyone is going to be very happy," heck yeah I'd be excited!!!
You raise a great question? I don't know about Henson, he has done a great job.. But the entire staff have done a great job.. and we need to finish #1, just because.. teams are coming on strong for the big fish left I think Loston will commit next week and maybe Debose (AA games)? Hopefully Randle and Mingo in the end, Montgomery, or Jones, maybe a suprise or two.. Hopefully we don't lose JJ, in the end I think he sticks with LSU.. Back to the coaches.. It still speculation I am letting you know that according to the LSU AD today, the hires have been secured.. That is prety cool to know and that he (Alleva) is very excited. So, I hope most of us will be. Chavis and O would be awesome IMO.. Walker was the sexy hire.. Lane I hear is going to Florida Atlantic, and Mallory, I guess he is taking the NW DC job? hasn't been public yet? Anyways, I am sure Miles hit a home run this time around.. The Tigers will be fine How about the recruiting class huh? Freakin awesome so far!

If Alleva is really saying that he is excited about the coaching staff we put together, then hell yeah I am excited!!!
My buddy said he sounded excited on the phone.. Apparently Alleva is a very dry personality..hard to talk too kinda person.. TIFWIW
So your buddy said Alleva sounded excited, when he is normally dry. If true, that is great news!!! Lets just hope your buddy isn't one of those "weak links" in the telephone game
I don't post here often, so I realize I don't have much credibilty built up. My friend is a huge LSU fan; is very well connected in Chapel Hill and Durham. he hangs with Butch Davis, Roy Williams, and the UNC AD from time to time as well.. It was pretty cool, I was one of first few people to know about Davis to UNC. My buddy was on the sidelines at ND vs UNC that day when he emailed me that news. He gets hooked up sometimes like you would not believe. He said Brady Quinn up close looked like he should be playing LB, HUGE!
Yeah, I've seen pics of Quinn that shocked me at how ripped that guy is. As for not posting often, it is usually the types that don't post often that are more likely to have legit inside info. Much like the whole "speak softly and carry a big stick" thing. It also helps that you shed more light on your friend and his connections, as well as some info on how right he has been in the past. What about the flip side, has your friend ever been wrong about anything like this?
