They agree to part ways. O professes his love for the state and university and can say whatever he wants. Medical issue, family issue, wants the focus to be on the kids and the program not all these upcoming title ix issues, hell not living up to the LSU Standard of Performance himself and wants to see this program at the very top and he's committed fully to that, or whatever. There's plenty of ways to step down mutually. We all know the truth anyways. Actually. O could just ask E how to step aside the right way at LSU and do that. Cause we all agree E is everything that is LSU even if others think he sucks. If he did relapse and has been drinking again he could go that route to curry sympathy him everyone and try to be a Sark situation..? Sark actually sued USC for his buyout claiming they discriminated against his illness when he showed up drunk to a USC football gala if memory serves me right. @uscvball would be able to provide the details on that. You don't have to name the buyout number I don't think. Call it a settlement. Anyone else got ideas?
we always hear this but it never happens. we owed les 6.5 mill and paid him 1.5. id bet no chance it happens this year but it sounds like woodrow hates the swamp king.
We could wait a few weeks until the powerball builds up and buy some tickets. Then pay for the buy out. I’ll throw in a few bucks. We have about the same chance of winning the powerball as we do to redeeming the season.
Politics played a role, in part because Alleva was a limp dick. Feel like Woodward is better (but if he is, why is compliance sending our best OL to UK?).
Maybe hammering another nail in O’s coffin? This and the Emery academic issue could have been handled better if Scott really wanted O around.
So what would be the buy outs for the rest of the staff? We have 2 coordinators, and OL & DL coaches with the ink hardly dry on their contracts.
This is what I was afraid of when everyone was singing his changed attitude. These are the antics that have got him in trouble since his teen years. For a while I thought he had grown up, but to hear this sounds like the same mentality is still there. He wants to run thru walls to prove he's better instead of using cognitive reasoning to prove his point. We know a lot of coaches are not lily white but most use discretion and keep their public persona in tact.
