I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Ed, yaw bettuh learn Rocky Top b/c you ain't ever gonna come back home now !
Coach Oh No burned his bridge with this old Tiger when he helped USC with McKnight. As far as his recruiting – he signed lots of players for Ole Miss who never made it to campus (grades), quit, flunked out or never panned out. He most successful recruiting there was JC and some transfers. I was also unimpressed with his choices for assistants – remember the assistant who was stopped for DUI going home from a recruiting function? Lots of folks in the Memphis area still consider him something of a joke. ldskule:
One thing I didn't like about O on staff is when it didn't work out in a few years he'd have even stonger ties with HS coaches and recruits in LA. As far as worrying about burned bridges, hope you like the hills O, cause thats your new home!!!:thumb:LSU!
Mike, I agree, living in Memphis too, I think we hear more of his shenaningans than most people. I have always heard he is somewhat of a dirty recruiter. Plus if he only wanted to come to LSU in hopes of snagging the HC job someday, I would rather he not come. After this December my faith in the Hat is stronger than ever! :milesmic:
