    I think LSU should wait and announce these hires (Coach O and Chavis) officially on January 2nd...the day that Bama plays in the Sugar Bowl......just like Saban's hire in Tuscaloosa hit the newswire on the same day we were to play in the SugarBowl against ND.

    I swear they did that to steal some thunder away from LSU. We should return the favor.

    I'm hoping for a great showing... and maybe a repeat of the 05 Chick Fil A bowl. End this season on a high note and go into next year with blue prints to whoop everyones A$$es on our schedule... with this new staff shaping up nicely... we're looking to become the new USCs of college football with top quality recruiting classes every season.

    I doubt we'd steal any thunder at all. LSU hiring Coach O as an assistant is nowhere near the news that Bama hiring Saban was. Would be a side note on ESPN, where as when Saban was hired, ESPN dedicated an hour for Saban to speak.

    I think so too. Saban even directly took credit after the game for the win. "I think you saw some of that last night" or something to that effect.

    As far as returning the favor, our defense will get the point accross next year!:geauxtige
