CEO wasn't the marquee hire a lot of people wanted, but we got what we needed. A coach with a big heart, a need to win and an overwhelming desire to serve the school, the students, alumni and fans.Welcome home Coach O and GEAUX TIGAHS!

After watching this team all year and listening to the players and coaches you should have more confidence in the direction LSU is heading than ever before. I have 0 doubts that this scheme is here to stay. Everyone is on the LSU bandwagon right now because it’s clear as day! Geaux Tigers!!

I've seen this song and dance far to many times to just accept people's word on it. I'm interested in seeing what happens without Joe Brady here. One outstanding year, and it's been an outstanding year, doesn't wash away my reservations for the future completely. It's a mind blowing start to the future, but I need some level of continued success first.

When kirby smart says this is the best offense he has ever seen. I believe him. To step back away from it would be the height of ignorance.

Good news is you don’t have to worry about not having Joe Brady here for at least another year but I’m gonna say longer than that. As long as O is there you’ll never see them revert back to previous offense. Spread is here to stay. Recruits are noticing and there will be no shortage of talent.

Props to Coach O. I was disappointed in the hire when it was made. However, I never questioned his loyalty or his want to be a great coach at a university he loves more than any coach would have. I knew he could recruit his ass off and bring some talented guys to play for him. There is also no denying that he is a master motivator.

My concerns were X'S and O's. What kind of game planning, adjustments, and critical decision making we would see in important games against tough opponents? I worried emotions could get the better of him and he would make some bad judgement calls if backed into a corner.

I am no longer concerned about those things. We have witnessed something truly special. Coach O has full filled his promise that he made in 2017. And I cannot be happier for the him, his staff, his players, the university, and the state. LSU is back where it deserves to be atop College Football's Elite. Thank you Coach O!

he has this team more focused and motivated than any team I’ve ever seen. There’s a calm confidence about them that is amazing. They honestly believe in the “one team one heartbeat”. These guys would die for one another and they have the leader to take them all the way. I swear everything Burrow does onfield and off is right. Guy is first class and has the swagger to boot!

As a Mississippi boy, I saw him take the Ole Miss job and fail in spectacular fashion. When he was hired here I was afraid we had gone from one hard-headed SOB to another. I didn't believe he had learned from his past... he still had that damn binder from Ole Miss for Christ's sakes.

So, yeah, he proved me wrong. He has learned from his mistakes, he can hire good people and let them do their job, he does see where there are deficiencies and makes adjustments.

He had me worried when first hired and in one interview is saying that he wants run the USC offense and in the next interview says we need to run the spread. Seemed he didn't really have a plan... but he did.

My thoughts were yes he didn't do well at Ole Miss, why you ask? His heart was not in it the man is bayou born and bayou bread and was always a Tiger at heart. O coaching at Ole Miss had to be like swallowing sawdust to him. He belongs here at LSU and has always belonged at LSU.
