Eaux is going to usher in a new era of football with the Brady hire. I expect a ton of imitation.

And as good as Brady is, I think E is flying under the radar. I think our offense will roll again next year.

I looked at his site yesterday afternoon. It looked like he had started threads on all the games. Unfortunately there few responses other than his. It's a shame. Greg appears to be a nice guy and it's nice to have other options other than TD.

Greg is a nice guy. Only reason I don’t go there more s that I should’ve quit posting altogether long ago but have made net friends here that I think off often even when I’m going about my normal day.

What happened to that site? They used to have a bunch of people that defected from here because they hated the negativity and arguments.

But I guess that circle jerk of a message board got old patting each other on the back for saying something nice about LSU.

He had this locked up on every ballot before Burrow locked up the Heisman.

This thread ain't about Brady or all the others passing thru. It's about the man responsible for having the vision to see it all through in spite of the naysayers like myself. (titicaca woulda backed any idiot with shrimp boots so for that I award you no points and we are all dumber for your presence.)

If you were wrong about Oeaux just own it. But he gets 100% credit for all of our success. God knows he's gonna get the blame otherwise. But yeah just pony up. Joe Brady can take ownership when his name is on the big boy chair. Til then CEO is the CEO. He's gonna make about 1.7 million more if he wins out. And will be getting a raise from 4 to probably 5.5m Id guess. He's earned it.

Word is he advised his buddy lane not to take the ole miss job. And it's already leaked so clearly lane is still lane. Let the absurdity begin.

Well said. My attitude about Oeaux from the beginning was, he's the logical guy for the interim job....ok, good job in the interim, he's really not the guy I want (boy, am I glad we didn't get the guy I wanted), but he's who we got; let's give him a chance. I claim no points for this stance, it was just me being me. But at this point I think, if you still have objections to Oeaux, you are either not a Tiger fan, or you don't know anything about football.

Until we have more than one year of sustained offense success maybe even until after Brady leaves and we show we can sustain a competitive offensive level then I'm still holding my breath.

This year might be lightning in a bottle. I'll take it. Trust me, I'll take a NC and a one year unbelievable run. And I'll happily give O his money too. But the past, oh, 11 years has me still feeling pretty fucking gun shy about offensive future after this year. I have hope we've turned a corner but this is LSU and that has me nervous.
