I was glad Baby Huey ( I now use the term affectionately) got the job. The only time his stock dropped in my eyes was his hiring/ firing of Oh Canada . That made me concerned the Old Boy network was returning to the Ol War Skule, but give him credit . He righted the ship. 1 The culture under Elmer had gone to crap. He changed it. 2 He saw the offense needed drastic upgrade . He changed it The man is a problem solver. He is shrewd insightful and players love the man. Coach O is the right man for L S U
"Nick Saban might still be the king of the SEC, but Louisiana cultural icon and LSU coach Ed Orgeron is the new crown prince of this league." Even the devil can eat crow from time to time... https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2019/12/goodman-how-lsus-offense-broke-the-sec.html
Coach Eaux is the Real Deal! Most important: our team would walk through fire for him, that's fo' schizzle!
This My favorite part of the game last night was probably when Joe gave the game ball back to Coach O. The look and smile on Coach O's face was priceless.
It speaks to the man that Joe is, and to the man he recognizes as deserving too. Too bad there aren't two game balls 'cause they both deserve the honor.
I give Coach O full credit for recognizing something had to change and bringing in Joe Brady. I also give him full credit for taking a risk on Joe Brady. He deserves all the appreciation in the world for those two things. He did something Miles could never do and that's stay the fuck away from the offense after hiring the coordinator. But I think this thread should really be the Joe Brady appreciation thread because he's the driving force behind this change on offense which is carrying on our team. He took an above average college QB and turned him into a Heisman winner and the No. 1 overall pick.
