You know while i was watching the game saturday, i kept hearing Gary Danielson say over and over how Les Miles said Jordan Jefferson was no where close to being able to run the offense for 4 quarters. I also read a quote where miles said on the fake punt... "we didnt expect that". other miles quotes "i felt like we had a pass rush at times" and another thread has this one "i felt like the quarterback was running for his life" and "we look forward to seeing more of jordan jefferson"

This is our head coach. First of all how in the hell he could say that Jefferson isnt ready is beyond me. He is the head coach. He looked pretty damned ready to me. Jarrett Lee is not the quarterback for Crowton's offense. For Jimbleaux Fisher, yeah put Lee back there. On the not expecting the fake punt, you were in a safe defense, ITS HOUSTON NUTT!!!??? HOW IN GODS NAME CAN YOU NOT EXPECT A FAKE ON THAT PART OF THE FIELD????? oh and No Les, there was no pash rush, well if you count the Rahim Alem and the front 4 creating what was maybe a little pressure 4 seconds after the snap, running for his life....i think not.

3 3rd downs in the second half we ran the ball and punted, once on a 3rd and 9. And then with 8 minutes left we could have dropped the ball inside the 10, but we go for it on 4th and 24. This coaching staff is pathetic. At times i saw Jarrett Lee looking to the sideline motioning the staff to get the play in quicker. We have talent on both sides of the ball, but our coaching staff has botched this whole season. I knew before the season 4 losses was a possibility, but the way these losses have come is just unacceptable. Im not calling for Les Miles' head (yet) but someone has to go, and we can start with the 2 headed GOAT on the defensive side of the ball. Get those 2 worthless "coaches" the hell out of baton rouge and arrest them if they ever cross the state line again, charge would be impersonating a coach.

I felt sick saturday, and you know what, hats off to ole miss they played a good game. I just hope and pray that Les Miles is not the next Larry Coker or Barry Switzer. I know i will get flamed for that last line but at this point i really dont care.

Miles is smart man, he will do what needs to be done to turn it around. I trust that.

Jefferson is no where near ready to lead the team against SEC opponents and it was evident Saturday. He is however much smoother and apparently much more ready that Lee. I would like to see how JJ would have looked Saturday had he been given significant playing time in earlier games when Lee was stinking the place up.

people need to chill out. having 4 losses is not the end of the world, especially when we weren't supposed to have a banner year this year. we beat auburn at auburn and everyone thought we would repeat.

just think back to the time we truly sucked, pre-2000, and come to appreciate the fact that have a possible 9-4 season is pretty good considering the alternative.

Yes, it is. I'm sure Miles has a tiny bit more insight as to whether one of his team is ready to play or not than you, I, or anyone else here. I trust him.

Jefferson has a long way to go. I gotta say though, he looked quite a bit better than I expected he would. Kid's got talent and will be a solid contributor to our Tigers. Can't wait to see him for a whole game @ Arkansas.

That still doesn't make him ready which is what Miles said. It's clear that Miles knew the team would struggle either way and would have liked to keep a redshirt on him. However once he burned it he should have played more. Jefferson is not the answer but he may be closer to the answer than Lee is. Either way we struggle big time and lose games against lesser opponents. Of course the D or lack of D has something to do with it too. There is no answer to our QB situation right now and for those looking for Miles to wave his magic wand and make a veteran, seasoned QB appear your dreaming. Miles has made some big mistakes this season, but he didn't become an idiot over night. I look for him to do the things needed to right the ship. Those standing on the bridge threatening to jump, please do.

look man, i agree with you, and like i said im not ready to cut Miles' head off, but i digress, for being thrust into the situation he was thrust into, with the little experience he had, Jefferson looked ready to me. And if he isnt he still can run Crowton's style of offense better than Lee can. Chris Leak came in as a true freshman and beat us in 2003 at tiger stadium. Sam Bradford had a monster freshman season. Tim Tebow had a great freshman season, he didnt start but he was used right. If Jefferson had been used right, we might not be in this situation. Its the little things that i question. And yes im a dumb ass fan, on a message board. Im not a coach, but i am just like everyone else who is wondering what the **** happened. Are you satisfied with this season? Are you happy with the way the 2nd half of that game was managed? Do you think we are a better team than this? Its the little things man that really get to me, like why do we run the ball on 3 3rd downs in the second half when we have about 30 yards on the ground for the whole game. Also why in the hell are we running the option with Jarrett Lee, im not nostradamus but i bet he pitches way before he takes the hit. Like i said, im a dumb ass on a message board, but i still think that this season was managed poorly.

Because they were looking for pass all the way and we weren't having much success at it. Once OM saw that JJ was going to pass, he went 5 of 13. Our run game had been stopped to that point because we WEREN'T passing. It's numbers...Ole Miss was dropping six or seven when it was obvious we were going to pass and I'm sure Miles thought he could sneak in a ten-yard gain. He didn't count on their D-Line blowing our guys off the line when they were outnumbered. I hope the new guys coming up on the O-Line give us a new energy next season.
