for this team not to look forward to the Alabama game. It's almost impossible not to think about it. Add to that we have been installed as a ridiculous 21.5 favorite on the morning line and has moved to 22.5 already. Crazy.

One win from the biggest game college football has to offer.

I'm glad we are playing at home.

And we debut our new Procombat uniforms too. I'm sure the players will be pumped up about that. Auburn always plays us better than they really are.

CLM, as all coaches do, always says he & the team prep & play for the game at hand; in this, I believe him and trust that the message is well taken up by the team. The burners need to go down, and down hard, and with no mercy shown. (This will also serve the purpose of giving their convalescing oaks a chance to recover without any more TP blocking the sun's rays).

I hope we will use this game to tighten up our weaker elements, improve both sides of the scrimmage line and stay healthy. Turn some of the trash talk into greater dominance of the entire game in all three dimensions.

Plenty of time to deal with the Tide. It's Auburn that's next in line for a drubbing; it's getting to be time for payback, azzes need to be kicked and we are the team to be administering that azz-kicking.

Word to the barners: don't bring any cigars to the game unless you want them placed where the sun don't shine.

We've been saying this for what 12, 13 weeks now?

Well at least it seems like it.

    Stop worrying.

    lets see

we don't turn the ball over

we don't see the yellow flag often

we win the game on average 38 to 10

we are #1 in the first BCS standings

I think Auburn is the team that needs to worry

In the interview with Sheppard ... it appears the message most certainly is resonating with the team.

It was clear, .... "we are just focusing on the upcomming team".

I find it hilarious ... everytime one of the pin heads tries to trap Miles or one of the players with a "Bama question" .... they always turn it around to the fact that they are focused on the NEXT game, not Bama.

Worrying about Bama Now .. is our job!! :D

Yup, CLM will earn his money this week. These guys have to stay focused and hungry. As long as we stick to our plan we'll be fine.

I don't think focus will be a problem this week. I think the players hate AU about as much as we do. Plus, they've still got that chip on their shoulder from last year. Time to settle that score.
