So you think that if K Williams had 12 carries a game that he'd be averaging 6-7 yards per carry, or more???

Either (A) the coaches (meaning the coaches on the "O" side of the ball) don't think so, or (B) they have more confidence in Hester's ability to get a few yards, protect the QB in passing protect situations, and protecting the ball.

Im not saying pull Hester at all, but it would be nice to mix it up before half for once. And I am not talking about just RB's, we seem to be very conservative early on and then run plays to let our playmakers touch the ball later in the game.

I honestly can't say that I have noticed a big change in play calling from the first half to the second. But there has definitly been something different. My hunch is that the players are much more focused in the second half and execution is better.

Why are we talking about the offense...No complaints about the offense...I seem to remember that against Arky, after the D-Mac fumble, Flynn took a couple of shots to the endzone but the receivers were well covered...The problem with this team was the defense...Excluding te La. Tech game, since the game against Florida, the defense allowed 33 points per game...Not good, Thank God our offense bailed us out so many times.

When your dink and dunk passes are not working in a spread offense it shuts down running lanes and prevents receivers getting open for big plays down field. The whole offense is predicated on being able to complete short passes. When we have a QB in Flynn who takes a while to get warmed up and tends to be off with his passes in the first half, or you have receivers dropping balls, it affects everything else.

I am a huge Hester fan but I agree with others that I would like to see more of Charlie Scott. The kid is a beast and he runs hard as hell. Take into account Keiland, Richard Murphy, and a redshirt freshman Steven Ridley and we should be more than set at running back for the next few years.
