You are right, a ref missed the worst hold I have ever seen in your own end zone preventing a safety with little time left. :hihi:
Wow, my bad. I thought you guys lost to them for some reason. Guess it's because you were taken to overtime by Marshall. So.....why did that happen? Issues? Accident?
Blah, blah, blah. That wasnt the only call missed. Not to mention on that long TD play the WR clearly dropped the ball before he went into the endzone. Who knows? I have heard every excuse. We moved the ball on them and just shot ourselves in the foot with poor play calling and had to settle for field goals. We gave up 2 big plays. Marshall didnt really impress me and I was there watching the game. We just played bad. Talking to the players they say it was because Doc Holliday(Marshalls coach) who was on our staff for several years knew all the plays. I dont know what their excuse was but in the last 8 minutes Gino Smith QB started to shine. He is the real deal.
Well we have had "issues" of one sort or another in our first 3 games. First game we allowed UNC back with poor passing defense on some big plays. Second our QB played pretty subpar. Third we kicked FGs in the redzone instead of TDs too often. I am hoping the only issue Saturday is traffic.
I've not seen West Virginia play in the last several years at all...so I have no idea what they'll bring.... ....all I know is that they'll "bring" whatever they have into the valley of death on Saturday night...and you WVU guys have absolutely NO idea what that's like. You're in for a shock and awe type experience. No way you guys jump out front early on, like one of you is predicting against this LSU defense...and I'm sure your coaching staff is aware of the difficulty of doing that. By the way, if any of you are coming to the game, welcome...and I bet you'll have a great time.
and the best offense we've faced. Devine is the real deal, but contain him and you stop WVU's offense. That said LSU has played 3 BCS conference schools and is 3-0 ATS, I think we make it 4.
