It said he did not resign. That's hardly a denial that makes any difference in this situation. Resignation isn't the issue one way or another.
Exactly. Ole Les was never able to solve the QB recruiting problem except with Mett. And we he had him the defense bit him in the arse when it counted. Good thing Jamarcus and Matt Flynn were already at LSU when Les got here. Agree he'd have at least one more championship with decent QB play.
Contrary to media reports, #LSU coach Les Miles has not resigned nor did he indicate he was resigning when speaking to booster group today.
people need to stop feeling bad for les, he is going to get paid over 80 percent of the remainder of his contract while making another nearly 3 million at some other school next year....so for the next 4 years, he will essentially be the highest paid college football coach in america he made his own bed and now deserves to be fired over it....point blank
You hate to see a really good guy get fired. Yes it's time and yes he will be well compensated and yes it's his fault but you can still feel bad when you see such a good person fail.
I don't think many are feeling bad for clm for his body of work. all can see the slide over the last several years and another year would have resulted in more of the same I think. I feel badly for him in the way this has been handled. he deserves better from LSU. getting 80% of his contract, etc, etc. has nothing to do with the way this has been effed up.
