Here we are number one ranked in the country not by chance b/c you earned it. We have a pack of bangle tigers that were let loose to fend for themselves. Everyone wants to take you down. But your hungry and you want to show why god put you on top of the food chain. So you spot a crimson tide from across the field! Together we pick out the leader of the group. With ferocious abandonment we strike! It’s a mad panic but when the dust clears the pride stands atop of its pray victorious. A team effort took the beast down and the rest of the herd ran for the hills. And that's what we need tonight. A group effort! Pick your teammate up and pat him on the back. Then make a play yourself. Get out of that stance first! Fire into your opponent and stand him up. You’re going to have an opportunity to do something big here tonight.

Now this is not just another game for me #1 vs. #2. The coach across the field has history with our school. He won us a national championship a while back. But he didn’t create a legacy. That’s what we are here to accomplish. You guys are the foundation. We’ve been through some adversity this year but this is just another test of will and magnitude. Success in this league is measured by one thing. At the end of the year in New Orleans back home the team that holds the crystal football high will go down in history as the best. Everyone in this room needs their name on that plaque to create a legacy. It’s your got dam birthright. That means we need to beat down all who test! Now get out on THEIR field and show them why we came here and lets go home with a W!
