My dad was a high school football coach and unfortunatly it goes with the territory.

There are always people who think they know more than the coach's yet they didnt go into coaching and there is so much more to football than people see.

I worked my way through college as a football manager and coach's put in more hours than any profession in the country. Next to football managers.

It is a tough pressure packed profession that is open to a lot of criticism.

But if you love to compete and you love to teach. It can be a great career.

My parents were both teachers and because of teacher pay in La. talked me and my brother both out of entering that profession and coaching.

I grew up on a football practice field and went to every game my dad coached for 18 years. I love sports and they are still a big part of my life.

My favorite by far is LSU sports ( Football Most ) From the age of 3 laying on floor listening to John Ferguson. SF Giants because i live here and my wife works for one of the owners. Dallas Cowboys, SJ Sharks.

And i am enjoying this year and i think the world of Les Miles and always have.

It isnt just because he wins. It is how he handles himself and he is a good man first.

If we lose to Bama i will still feel that way and i am thankfull we have Les and will be till he decides it is time to move to his next challenge in life which i hope is in about 20 years.

Thanks Les for being the rock that our foundation is built on.
