You are right. Apparently he is not a card carrying Democrat. He just gave money back when. But it still does appear to be true that the LA NAACP can be bought off by a known racist and awarded honors. Well, at least until last Saturday.
Especially considering he bought the Clippers for $15M and estimates now say the team is worth around $700M, and could get an even Billion for it should he end up selling. In hindsight he may come out on top of all of this.
He'd be stupid to try and fight this. He would be best served to shut his trap and go somewhere and live out the rest of his life.
