As it should be. These yokels who want the NBA to take away the team (as if it had that power) or force him to sell scare me....really, no concept of what freedom is. Instead, you have businesses exercising their right to choose with whom they wish to do business. It will be interesting to see if the other major shoe in this backlash drops, i.e.; player signings? Once the season is over, how many current Clippers will demand a trade or simply ask out of their contract? How many potential free agents will snub them, or might the team even be blackballed (there's an ironic term) by the players' union? Will some unknown number one draft choice opt to go to Europe or even sit out a year rather than sign with LAC?
