You dont, the politicians dont, the people that donate their time to hand out ballots dont. It's a big pile of bullshit and you know it AND beings you have served this above anything should piss you off as you should care more.
Since when does having a voter id card and having your name listed on the voting roles NOT sufficient to place ones vote? In fact, if you knew anything about the 31 cases out of 1 billion votes cast that turned out to be actual voter fraud, you would know that these were from mail-in ballots, not voters who appeared in person. So you tell me....what good does it do to have to show an additional ID when we've had virtually no instances of in-person voter fraud, unless of course, it is to limit the number of voters....which, if your ideas are outdated and out of touch with society then it makes sense that you would want to keep the number of voters low, especially from certain demographics that you can't win.
Ant legal citizen can get a state picture I'D even if they can't get a driver's license for some reason, .ie, dui, don't drive, ect

why should they have to show an additional ID when the state has already issued them a voter ID card, which for decades has been sufficient? There is absolutely no evidence to support that we have a voter integrity problem. There is indeed evidence that the Republicans no longer have enough registered voters to win a national election and need to suppress certain demographics in order to win. It's no irony that Republicans started putting these laws into place after 2008 and they realized that they cannot win a national election just by getting the white vote.
And I can't wait to see you whine for the next 8 years when you have either a woman or an avowed socialist as your President because right now either of them beat every Republican candidate in polling. Let that sink in.....a majority of the American people would prefer to have a socialist as President over a Republican.

Evidence of what? The law says you have to be a legal citizen to vote are you asking me to prove that? What legal citizen can't provide proof of citizenship? How does having to provide proof of citizenship keep any legal citizen from voting?
