Well... I am not sure what to make of this situation. I appreciate Kelly making the suspension a game at minimum as I was expecting the one series or one quarter suspension. But, wow! $8,000 bucks in unpaid citations, how is a warrent not out for his arrest?!
BIG difference! Cam's dad admitted to shopping his kid around. Major violation. NCAA slaps his hand because of TV ratings. That happens to a lower ranked team, and the kid would be history.
They don't do warrants much anymore for traffic tickets. Just send it to collections. I think it's due to overcrowding. It's an infraction, not a misdemeanor. $8,500 is excessive. I'm glad he was suspended. He needs to learn how to be a man. He can only play this game for so long, but he'll be a man his whole life. Hope he wises up.
If you know the whole story, you'd know he was defending his younger brother from a rent-a-cop (not a police officer), that was using excessive force.
If he lived in New Orleans he would have went straight to jail. I know someone with one unpaid ticket (no not me) that went to jail for speeding. It wasn't very fast either, about 10mph over the limit. I don't think calling someone a knucklehead is much of an insult. Wilbon signs off of "Pardon the Interruption" every day calling his viewers "knuckleheads". What is someone supposed to say? -- He is an under-served member of our society and is representative of environmental prejudices that totally excuse the actions of this poor youth? I don't know about you, but if he was my kid and I found out he racked up $8,500 in speeding tickets and was going that fast the word "knucklehead" would not be my first choice when I spoke to him!
you are sorely misinformed, Duck ..... not surprising in the least. Unless it is proven that Auburn was involved (they weren't, it was Mississippi State) or that Cam himself knew of the discussion between a street agent and MSU coaches, then it isn't even a minor violation. while you're healing yourself, ... consider educating yourself too, Duck.
