The problem isn't the final score. It's the way we played the second half. They say that a football team makes the most improved between game 1 and game 2 but I didn't see any improvement and nothing to make me think we are growing as a team. Whatever goals the coaching staff had for this game were not accomplished. We will know a lot more after Saturday.
One could actually argue that LSU on the offensive side of the ball, between the first half of games 1 and 2, has maybe played one entire half of solid football so far this season.
You know there was another football team on the field with us Sat night. Watch SELA this year they are talented. Besides all teams have these kinds of games especially against teams we are supposed to beat badly. Look even Saint Nick has those kind of games.
You're argument lacks depth, all you've done is compare W's & L's, and still can't get it right... FSU went 7-6 last season. But look a little deeper than just the records. FSU lost 2 more games than LSU. Why? Could it because they lost their starting QB Deondre Francois in the opening game against Alabama? How many BCS game/NC QB's has Fisher had? Ask the same for E.
Look I am not going to sit here and argue semantics with you. Yes even the Mighty Saban has those games (who just routed Ark State 57-7). And yet SELU isn't even a top 25 team in the FCS. Break out your thicker glasses for Saturdays game, then tell me how well our QB development is. Until then, just realize that Fisher is a better developer of QB's then E is. That's al I am saying.
We are last in the SEC in offense. Those that don't think that's a problem, I'm not sure what to say.
We havent played an SEC game to my knowledge. We are averaging 32 points a game and holding our opponents to an average of just over 8 points. Who cares anyway we could average 2 points a game if we win them all.
