They play our songs use our mascot our stadium name. Thank god they didn't come into the sec. Went to the wvu game had a great time so I am cheering for them to beat the crap out of the fake ass tigers
I hate to break this news to you. But you might want to read up on the name "Death Valley" They had it before us. And that is a stretch because we were originally Deaf Valley.. Anyway hate to burst your bubble there. But facts are facts.
I was wondering who was "the first"?? I'm not so concerned with their mascot being the "Tigers"....There are lots of 'em in college sports... But Tiger Rag and "Death Valley". Has it ever been confirmed WHO was the first??? Now, I know Clemson has a rock FROM Death Valley, which supposedly jumpstarted their use of it...was that before us, though? ...If they're indeed the first to claim that nickname, they can have it....we can be "DEAF Valley"! :hihi: (when I was a little boy, I actually thought Tiger Stadium WAS called "Deaf Valley") As for the game itself?? Sorry, I can't stand WVU. Inbred hillbillies.....I hope Clemson stops 'em into a mudhole.
Nope I am going to live in my little bubble. Football was invented on the ground that tiger stadium was built on. As for Clemson my son says that have a kicker named wang from Austria their coach eats AstroTurf and a player nicknamed the honey bear. I mean if you're going to copy at least try not to plagerize
Mos ditto-ness. Great minds think alike. Holgorsen got a hair cut (or combed it) yet he still looks like hungry eyes from the M&M's commercial.
From Wiki "Tiger Stadium is well known nationally for having among the best game day atmospheres in college football as well as being one of the most difficult places for an opposing team to play. In the 1980's, a reporter called Tiger Stadium "DEAF Valley," as a play on words relating to Clemson's "Death Valley," which was coined such in the 1940's by an opposing coach." This is confirmed in a few LSU history books as well. a reporter named our stadium Deaf Valley (since it is so loud) as a play off of Clemson's Death valley. I am sure in today's PC world Deaf Valley would be offensive.
Deaf valley should be hearing impaired. Valley. Also if Clemson wants to copy us they should play a little defense
