Hello fellow Tigers. Hope you are doing well. Thought I would come on here and share alittle insight about our team and fans.
Reguardless of what you may have heard, most Clemson fans see this game with you guys as a HUGE,HUGE test. And while our season didn't quite end the way we'd hope,we are glad to be playing a very, very good team like LSU.
Our offense this year, as you may know has been our saving grace. But we have struggled against better defenses. Thats why we know it will take everything we got to even get close to winning against one of the best teams in the country.
Our team goes as Tajh Boyd does, our QB-#10 and we have 2 great receivers who I'm sure you've heard of as well..Deandre Hopkins #6 and Sammy Watkins #2.
Our defense has been really suspect through-out the year. I'm just hoping we can even slow you guys down-I know you have a GREAT RUNNING ATTACK, right?
Anyways, heres looking forward to a good Chic Fli bowl in 2012...its gotta be the number #1 bowl for this year. And thanks for letting me be a guest on your forum.

BTW_l really like you guys uniforms!

Welcome Prime Tiger.....classy post. We appreciate the insight on your team, however we already know about tajh boyd, hopkins and watkins.....they're alla threat everytime they touch the ball, but how about a little info on some of the other guys that might not be so well known that help make this offense go.....the stregnth of your offensive line? I see this matchup as a true test for LSU, I think Clemson Matches up very well against LSU, your stregnths on offense are our weakness on defense, i'm hoping we can keep boyd running for his life most of the night, because if not, your offense could give our defense fits! I'm hoping LES also has his boys hyped up and ready to play, if they come in there unmotivated they could easily leave with a loss. However with all of that being said IF lsu is hyped and ready to play....my interest will be in the trenches, I think LSU could be very difficult to stop up front, if that's the case then clemson might struggle a little.....but I really expect this to be a very good match up.

Classy post, and many of us know a lot about Clemson, especially Tajh. Here is to hoping for a good game, and I hope our team shows up pumped up.

Welcome Prime T. Watched one of your games early in the year and was VERY impressed with T Boyd.

Ok,since you know the high profile guys, I'll go into a few others.
Our OL starts with our ALL AMER center Dalton Freeman. Hes beyond a shadow of a doubt our best lineman (Sr.)
Our right guard,Tyler Shatley moved over from defense for his Sr year to get some nastyness to our OL. He was
a starter from day 1 after the move and has done very well.
LT Brandon Thomas played guard last year, but has done very well this year after moving to tackle-hes very athletic
    for a OL.
Our LG,D. Beasley and RT Gifford Timothy are 1st time starters in 2012-both have come along very well...matter of fact, both
ended up being better than we thought.
As you can imagine, our OL are alot better at pass blocking than run blocking...part of the reason our back,#23 Andre
Ellington didn't quite have the season he'd hoped for.

    On defense..
in the past few years, we really struggled stopping the run; But this year..that trend stopped; This year we struggled against
teams who could pass the ball around and gave up big numbers.
ON defense,we really don't have any standouts, its defense by commidy(sp) But I do believe our defensive line is coming along.
My main concern on defense, is teams who can throw it over the top---downfield?
    Anyways...
hope this helps...once again, thanks and GO TIGERS (both)

Thanks man.....that's great insight....here's where my focus will be while watching this game....our D-line against your o-line......I think.....(my own opinion) lsu's d-line while be real trouble for your o-line......or at least that's what i'm hoping!!

when they feel like it. really stunk it up last few games. typical lsu (except for last season), playing to the level of the competition.

i was initially down on this matchup. no-win situation for lsu to play a second tier program. it will take a blowout to impress and this team has only blown out one real oppt. BUT lsu has only lost one of these meaningless bowl games before under miles (the mudbath vs PSU), plays great indoors and the passing game turned the corner a few weeks back. most likely, it is a double-digit win for the fighting tigers.

Hey, Prime T Tiger....( By the way, the opposing mascot recipe thread in the food section is tongue in cheek ;))
