Last night I didn't come away with the feeling that this was the "game of the century", but I certainly think I saw an enduring classic. This was a pitchers duel. We're just not used to seeing games like this anymore.
The Ohio State V Michigan Game in 2006 was hailed by most as an amazing game. Lotsa points and wow factor in that one with a big finish. I don't agree with Pat Forde a lot but I liked this article. I still believe we saw the 2 best teams last night. What happens when the unstoppable meets the immovable.... You end up with a wreck which is awesome to behold but not necessarily pretty to look at.

It is difficult to enjoy a gut-wrenching game.

I did it by going on our Live Chat. Was a good time and the few guys online were insightful and funny--uh, oh, um--that was me! LOL!

Seriously, it was a tiny community of rabid fans milking* everything we could from the game in real time.

    Bam!
    Next!

    * The drinking of milk was unlikely (though, possibly, as a remedy this morning).

Teams like OSU, Stanford, Boise State, etc HAVE to score a bunch of points to win. We don't.

Every year fans and pundits from around the country scoff at the best SEC teams offense and say that they are inept. Then we steamroll the opponent in the title game once again.
