    Now you'd have to think that owning these awards two years in a row has to have a positive impact on the recruiting of other top defensive backs, although we always have excellent defensive backs.

    LSU behind only Oklahoma (3 Homer awards given to Oklahoma) with 2 awards in these back-to-back years in the 25 year history of this award

    Remember, this is the 3rd year in a row that a player from the SEC has won this award. This is also the third player in a row that has won this to be coached by Chief.
