Civilian with CC uses gun to stop shooting

To open carry here you have to go through a class just like if you want to CC, and I think it may be more intensive but I'm not sure. I know you can't just walk the street without having your card. Or your white sunglasses.

 

The only white sunglasses I've ever owned were a pair of white Oakley's that I won in some contest I didn't remember entering. Those, like every other pair of expensive sunglasses I've ever had, were lost broken or stolen within a matter of a month or tw0. But I still have the $12 pair of Eagle Eyes that I bought off the "As Seen on TV" rack at Walgreens 10 years ago.

After watching the video I see it was a setup designed to show cops reacting differently to a black guy and a white guy in the same basic situation. But the cop was white. Pretty sure if the cop had been black he would have done the same as the white cop. Whether a cop is a good guy or a total asshole after a few years on the job they develop instincts about what could happen in situations and with certain kinds of people base or race or otherwise. Not only do the have the job of catching bad guys they want to stay alive. It's called profiling. Not textbook profiling but profiling based on past experience. Not saying there isn't racism in every police force and I know that profiling is a dirty word to you liberals but like it or not we all profile. Who are your friends and who do you not like? Why are you attracted to one woman and not another? Honestly, if you saw both these guys walking down the street in the same manner each with a gun which one would you think was more likely up to no good? Maybe the white guy is on his way to shoot up a school and the black guy found the gun and was on his way to turn it in. But that's not the statistical likelihood.

Liberals get upset when a guy with a rag on his head gets frisked at the airport but Israel's El Al Airline does extensive and comprehensive profiling. If you fit certain profiles you don't get on the plane. El Al has never had a violent incident since beginning profiling.

 

If open carry advocates want to change media perception to the positive they should get a gay group to form an open carry group. LBGT for Open Carry. The media would hail them as heroes and the whole group would win the ESPN Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

 

I bought a pair of Oakley's when I was in high school for baseball, but they are at the bottom of Lake Larto now. I also bought some Versace sunglasses when I was like 22 and I left them in my car in Texas in the summer and they melted. I've never paid more than 15 dollars for sunglasses since.

No, I had a clear blue pair of Oakley's and the Versace's were jet black. You remember the mumbo series by Oakley? They had white on them though
