If it was any team other than a Harbaugh coached team, I would agree with you. I think the Alabama coach did it because of Harbaugh's anti-SEC rants. I can't stand either team so it doesn't really bother me.
I hear you, but I don’t believe in stooping the program to that level. Not the kind of life lesson i think a HC should be conveying to his team and fans.
I think they're at an age now where that one play is not going to influence them one way or another as a life lesson. Besides, there could be more to it then we know. For example, maybe Harris had a goal before the season of scoring x number of rushing TDs and that was the one that allowed him to reach his goal. If the score at the time was 77-0, then yeah that would be piling on. I agree with you that it was unnecessary and 99.9% of other deals with just kneel, but I guess my point is, maybe there was something else driving that decision because its not something I've seen them do before. (I PRAY this is not making me look like a Bama apologist. )
